I grew up in north Texas with limited architectural exposure, so I turned to books to learn about both ancient building history and failures
(I believe the first real instance is Fantastic Feats and Failures by the Editors of Yes MAG back in 2005). This sparked my interest in architecture and led me to enter local art contests, drawing ancient Roman architecture. I find architecture to be a fantastic opportunity to creatively solve problems and design solutions that have real impacts.
I attended the School of Architecture at Oklahoma State University in 2016, and graduated in May 2021 with a Bachelor of Architecture, having since begun pursuing my architectural licensure. I took learning opportunities abroad in Italy, France, and the United Kingdom during my studies.
I enjoy designing in various environments and circumstances, believing that exposure to diverse circumstances and influences enhances creativity and practice.
Outside of architecture, I enjoy cooking, learning, exploring the world, entering competitions, and listening to lots of music.
